Trade Fair
jazzahead! is is a trade fair, conference and showcase festival - with contemporary, high-profile jazz from Germany and Europe and from overseas. From April 24th to 26th 2025, the jazz world will come together to network, exchange ideas, attend conferences and panels, and experience 38 showcase concerts in the official program during four days at jazzahead!
In 2024 were around 3,000 professional participants from 66 nations were registered, coming from various fields of business activities like: artists, bookers, labels, agencies, publishers, festivals and clubs, distributors, production companies, lobby institutions, associations, press and more.

Showcases
The showcase bands for jazzahead! 2025 have been set!
"Showcases" are the 30- to 45-minute short concerts at jazzahead!. 38 jazz highlights and current formations from Germany, Europe, Overseas/Africa as well as from three former partner countries: Spain (2012), France (2015) and Switzerland (2016), being part of the next year's first RECONNECT edition, can be experienced on three days and nights on the stages of Hall 7 and the Kulturzentrum Schlachthof.
Festival
The jazzahead! Festival turns Bremen into the metropolis of jazz!
Every year in April, the jazzahead! Festival takes place parallel to the jazzahead! trade fair in Bremen. Together with numerous cooperation partners, we organize a city-wide music program around the world's largest meeting place for the jazz scene.
In 2025, there will be a RECONNECT edition presenting a partner region for the first time, focusing the former partner countries Spain (2012), France (2015) and Switzerland (2016). From April 24 to April 26, we can observe the developments in these strong jazz countries since they were last the focus of the jazzahead! trade fair and festival. The three neighboring countries were selected as partner region in order to promote artistic exchange between them and beyond in connection with the important topic of „Green Touring".

Our participants have repeatedly been contacted via mail by a company claiming to be selling the jazzahead! 202x visitors/attendees list. Please do not answer their request! We would like to point out that we are in no way affiliated with this. The brand name “jazzahead!” was used without our knowledge or consent for these mailings. In case you receive mails in that manner, we advise you to disregard and discard it. As a jazzahead! attendee with a registration valid for the current year, you will always have access to the detailed attendee list via our participants portal.

In the past years, our exhibitors have repeatedly been contacted via mail by a company named „EXPO GUIDE S.C.”. Please do not answer their data request! EXPO GUIDE sends out this offer to a number of different events and the respective exhibitors. We would like to point out that we are in no way affiliated with EXPO GUIDE S.C. The brand name “jazzahead!” was used without our knowledge or consent for these mailings.
In case you receive mail from EXPO GUIDE S.C, we advise you to disregard and discard it. If you have already signed the offer and by doing so have entered a contract, we strongly suggest that you contest the validity of the contest. The information sheet from the AUMA (Association of the German Trade Fair Industry) contains more information and a sample reply that you can use to respond to an letter such as that from Expo Guide.
